An enigma.

There were the 90’s: three critically acclaimed albums, cult followings in Europe and Japan, and plans for a US tour.

Then, without explanation, he disappeared — into the wilds of Tasmania, it was rumoured.

But now, just as suddenly, Van Ramsey has returned — aided by long-time collaborators, The Dogs of Rest.

His music blurs lines between sugary synth-pop, hypnotic riffs and spoken-word improvisation. It’s Noel Coward meets Depeche Mode, via Nick Cave and a prog-rock mix tape.

Van Ramsey has lost none of the fire. He is still the enigmatic, theremin wielding, diva-laureate... voice from the wilds!
